Very few of us get something right the first time around. This applies to pretty much everything in life, whether it’s sports, dating, or building a website.

The difference maker is how you react to that failure, and what comes next. There is definitely a difference is being wrong…and being wrong. What did you learn from your mistake?

With each iteration of measurable success and failure you should be getting closer to your goal. I see people all the time that are so afraid of failing that they will never win at life.

Part of winning is losing, and part of making the right moves involves making a few wrong moves along the way.

Don’t leverage yourself too heavily in any one thing, because in the grand scheme of things most of what you try will end up failing. Even the best and brightest minds in history were constantly trying things, it’s that creative process that leads to greatness.

So the next time you end up being wrong, don’t just be wrong. Be learning, be thinking, and moving on a little bit closer to victory.
